Bo has been working as an architect in New York City for 17 years since graduating from Cornell University’s School of Architecture. She has worked on wide range of projects from high-end multiple dwellings to private residences. Her favorite part of working with clients is finding that truly unique finish or accent piece to a project to perfectly execute the overall vision. To do this, she has developed relationships with a wide breadth of artists and artisans over the years so she can pull from the large range of custom work in her arsenal.
After receiving a BA from Columbia in Mathematics and Economics, Emily lived as an artist in Paris for 4 years before returning to the states to get a masters of architecture from SCI-Arc. For the past decade, she's worked on both residential new-construction to high-end interior architecture, and has found her niche bringing modern design to classic apartments. Updating New York residences in a way that that both pays homage to the original details, and makes the space functional for a contemporary family, is her favorite challenge in many Bo&Em projects.
